Emmaus Preston

LSC Funded Project - Building Capacity, Widening Participation
The project was delivered by a well established partnership, and assisted 30+ Voluntary and Community Groups, in order to enable them to deliver lifelong learning and basic skills programmes to over 250 of their client target groups
The VCS groups delivered family and community learning, developing the target groups to manage their own learning using DfES progress files, and provided outreach and one to one services for which they have difficulty currently accessing funding. Their clients receivedsaccreditation for the training accessed thereby helping them to evidence their skills and support their employability.
