Funding finders Ltd provides a variety of services to the Public, Private and voluntary sector.
Services range from Bid writing services, Finding funds, capacity building through to supporting organisations wishing to develop joint activities in EU new member State countries.

We can also provide training for organisations across Europe on accessing funding, bid writing, project management and record keeping.  This can be delivered at our residential premises in the UK or in any of the EU member states. 

Our Toolkits - Best Practice Guides to Project Evaluation, Monitoring and Financial Record Keeping is a guide to evidencing and monitoring financial spend and outcomes/achievements, and include example documents which can be used to ensure you have all the necessary evidence for audit, monitoring, evaluation and dissemination\valorisation purposes.

These toolkits can be amended to suit the needs and languages of the various EU member states.  We can also provide organisations with an external monitoring and evaluation service, which can be included in project budgets as an eligible expenditure, and is preferred by many funders to ensure unbiased evaluation and monitoring takes place.

The Welsh Assembly has warned that if community-led regeneration partnerships fail to deliver hard outcomes funding will be cut. In April 2009 the Communities First initiative will be replaced by Communities Next. According to a recent consultation document the system will use a “robust approach”. GOVERNMENT NEWS

The recent cabinet reshuffle caused by the resignation of Peter Hain saw Yvette Cooper replaced by Caroline Flint as Housing Minister. Cooper becomes Chief Secretary To The Treasury. James Purnell has been appointed Works And Pensions Secretary. Purnell, a former Minister For Pensions Reform said “I am delighted to be returning to the DWP, to deepen the reform of the welfare and pensions systems and continue to tackle child poverty”

CHILDCARE/EDUCATION NEWS

The Dept for Children, Schools and Families has announced a new £5million fund hoping to help gifted pupils from state schools in London, the Black Country and Greater Manchester get to university. For more details go to www.dcsf.gov.uk

HOUSING AND REGENERATION

The government has announced that from 2008 to 2011, the FutureBuilders Fund will be run by the Adventure Capital Fund. The £215million fund is designed to help third sector organisations deliver public services.

COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTARY NEWS

The National Audit Office has published a report claiming that community sentences, available to courts since 2005, can offer benefits to both communities and offenders. The sentences currently available could involve unpaid work or drug rehabilitation. According to the report these enable the offenders to stay with their families, avoiding additional pressure on the prison system and some evidence points to a lower reconviction rate than custodial sentences.
