Funding finders Ltd provides a variety of services to the Public, Private and voluntary sector.
Services range from Bid writing services, Finding funds, capacity building through to supporting organisations wishing to develop joint activities in EU new member State countries.

We can also provide training for organisations across Europe on accessing funding, bid writing, project management and record keeping.  This can be delivered at our residential premises in the UK or in any of the EU member states. 

Our Toolkits - Best Practice Guides to Project Evaluation, Monitoring and Financial Record Keeping is a guide to evidencing and monitoring financial spend and outcomes/achievements, and include example documents which can be used to ensure you have all the necessary evidence for audit, monitoring, evaluation and dissemination\valorisation purposes.

These toolkits can be amended to suit the needs and languages of the various EU member states.  We can also provide organisations with an external monitoring and evaluation service, which can be included in project budgets as an eligible expenditure, and is preferred by many funders to ensure unbiased evaluation and monitoring takes place.

Communities Secretary Hazel Blears has announced a £70million fund to accelerate work supporting communities confronting violent extremism. The funds will go towards equipping faith leaders with more skills to lead communities, broadening the provision of citizenship education, developing minimum standards for public institutions, and to supporting the Charity Commission’s work to improve governance standards in faith institutions. GOVERNMENT NEWS

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation has published a report claiming that the “new and emerging” government structures need to be more integrated. Regional government offices and assemblies are failing to tackle economic deprivation, the report says. “Most national and regional local economic strategies do not include any significant attempt to link employment generation and business opportunities to the needs of deprived areas”. CHILDCARE/EDUCATION NEWS

The government has unveiled its new Child Poverty Unit, jointly owned by the Dept for Work and Pensions and the Dept for Children, Schools, and Families. Ed Balls, the Secretary of State for Children said “Child poverty has no place in modern Britain and we are committed to spending £2billion by 2010 on public services to break cycles of deprivation”.

HOUSING AND REGENERATION

The South-East plans to commit to reducing carbon emissions by 20% by 2016. The South-East England Development Agency (SEEDA) has also committed to increase the proportion of energy generated from renewable sources by at least 10% by 2010. The Chief Executive said “Sustainability is hugely important in reducing our carbon footprint and ensuring a good quality of life in the South-East is what will give us a competitive advantage” See http://www.seeda.co.uk/

COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTARY NEWS

According to research by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, the number of people employed in the voluntary sector has risen by a quarter in the last ten years. The report also shows that government funding has only increased by 1.5% since 2001, that grants were 52% of funding in 2001/2 but only 38% in 2004/5, and that contracts were 48% in 2001/2 and 62% in 2004/5.
